Meeting Wednesday On Proposed Increases To Animal Shelter Fees In Everett, Washington

meetingThe public is being invited to weigh in on proposed fee increases charged to people using Everett Animal services.

Discussions have been going on for the past couple of years and now a fee schedule is being proposed.

Some fees, like those charged for stray animal apprehension by an animal control officer are going up a bit while other fees like dangerous dog registration are going up five times the current amount.

You are invited to give your opinion at a public meeting set for Wednesday July 25th at 5:30 PM that is being held at the Everett Animal Shelter.

The new fees would go into effect on January 1st, 2019.
