Everett Police heading out after a safe resolution.

Had some inquiries regarding a large police presence in the 7100 block of Wetmore early this (Sat) morning.

Here’s what we were able to find out. Around 5:00 AM Everett Police were called to a report of someone who may have fired a round from a weapon while at a house in the 7100 block of Wetmore.

Police responded and after talking with witnesses determined a man inside the house was likely responsible.

Officers asked neighbors to stay inside and shut down a couple of streets around the area of the house.

Everett Police were able to convince the man to come out of the house and he was cited for a weapons violation and the weapon confiscated for safe keeping.

The incident lasted about an hour and a half.
