Time is running out to register to vote in the August primary.

The August Primary is almost upon us. Overseas and military ballots have been mailed. Local voters pamphlets will go out on July 18th with local ballots in the mail July 19th. Monday is the last day to register by mail or online. Here’s more from the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office…

Monday, July 9 is the last day before the August 7 Primary to register by mail or online or to update an existing voter registration. In-person registration at the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office ends Monday, July 30. Ballots will be mailed to all registered voters beginning July 19.

“Register to vote or update your information today so you are ready to make your voice heard once Primary ballots are mailed,” said Auditor Carolyn Weikel. “With several federal and state offices on the ballot, this year’s elections have significant importance.”

Register online at www.myvote.wa.gov.  Mail-in registration forms can be found online or at local libraries, post offices, and the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office. The Auditor’s Office is located on the first floor of the Snohomish County Administration West Building, 3000 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, and is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
