At about 12:49 AM Sunday morning Everett Police were dispatched to a report of shots fired at the Park and Ride off El Capitan in Everett’s Eastmont neighborhood.

About three minutes after that Everett Police were told of a gunshot victim headed by car to Providence Pacific campus. North crews headed there and south officers went to the Park and Ride.

Police officers in north located a car with a gunshot victim in the 1200 block of Pacific Avenue. They began first aid on the victim and notified medics. Medics responded and worked on the teen and then transported him to Providence Colby Campus.

The car the teen had been in had visible bullet holes and was impounded by Everett Police. At the Park and Ride lot south patrol officers searched the area and recovered evidence.

Major Crimes detectives were called out to investigate. At this time the shooting suspect is still at large.

Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell told MyEverettNews.com this morning the shooting victim is 17-years-old and his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Snell said it appears a group of teens had met up at the Park and Ride after being at a party earlier in south Everett and some type of altercation broke out leading to the shooting.

Here are some MyEverettNews.com photos of the scene on Pacific and at the Park and Ride.
