Booming Storm Rolls Through Everett

Editor’s Update 3:27 PM: Blue skies popping up over central Everett now. PUD outage map shows 48 people without power in downtown Everett. Police and fire crews have been checking multiple alarms. There has also been some localized flooding and manhole covers coming loose. Do not drive through standing water. You don’t know what may have happened underneath.

The really came down for a short while.

It was quite a mixture of weather Sunday afternoon.

Shortly after 2:30 PM a big storm cell rolled through Everett, Washington bringing lightning, thunder, heavy rains and hail.

No major damage reports but lots of alarms went off and about 14 people lost power according to the PUD outage map.
