Important Public Hearing Tuesday On Major Changes To Everett Zoning Code

Tuesday night (June 5th) the Everett Planning Commission will be holding public hearings on plans that can change the future of Everett not only in the proposed Metro Everett area but also across the entire City of Everett.

The Metro Everett Plan may become a template for other areas of the city and the parking rules that are being discussed are city-wide. The public hearing will begin at 6:30 PM in the Everett City Council chambers at 3002 Wetmore in downtown Everett. It will also be televised on Everett TV.

While anything approved by the Planning Commission must also be approved by the Everett City Council this is a major plan that has been years in the making. The Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing on the draft Metro Everett Plan and draft development regulations on June 5th at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 3002 Wetmore Avenue, Everett, WA.
