Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run Jogs Through Everett

The Everett Police Team says they are the number 1 torch running crew.
The Law Enforcement Torch Run is the largest public awareness vehicle and grassroots fundraiser for Special Olympics. Today the torch passed through Everett on its way to the Washington State Special Olympics Spring Games at JBLM.
This morning shortly after 5 AM a team of runners from the Everett Police Department picked up the torch from Marysville Police Officers near 16th and Broadway. The Everett team ran the torch to 75th and Evergreen Way where they passed it off to a team from the Mukilteo Police Department. From there that team was headed south on Evergreen Way and then on 99 to meet up with a team from Lynnwood PD. Here are a few MyEverettNews.com photos of the torch coming through Everett.
