Armed Robbers Hit Welch’s Foods In North Everett

EVERETT – Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are asking the public to help identify the suspects of an overnight robbery.

Just before 11 pm last night, three masked males entered Welch’s Foods (2230 Wetmore Ave) carrying black semi-auto handguns. Two males pointed their guns at the employee and demanded money. When given cash, they then demanded to see the safe. When told there was no safe, the males took a wallet from a customer, merchandise, and left.

Two suspects appeared to be white males, in their 20-30’s, about 5’-9” tall, wore masks and black clothing. The third suspect was a little taller, wore a light colored hoodie, wore blue jeans and a mask.

The robbery happened Wednesday night around 11 PM.

Everett Police are looking for gunmen who robbed the Welch’s Food store at 2232 Colby Wednesday night.

The robbery happened around 11 PM. Everett Police called in a K-9 from Arlington to assist in the search but were unable to locate the suspects. Only description so far is they were wearing dark clothes. No one was hurt and Everett Police detectives will follow up.
