Shots Fired In Valley View Neighborhood

Some people were delayed getting to their homes in the Valley View neighborhood east of I-5 in Everett Tuesday afternoon.

An Everett Police officers collected several shell casings.

Around 5:15 PM Everett Police received multiple reports of shots fired in the 7800 block of Timberhill Drive.

Arriving Everett Police officers found shell casings in the street and the parking lot of an apartment building.

Other EPD units were brought in to block off access points to Timberhill Drive.

The road was closed for about 35 minutes while Everett Police checked to make sure no one was hurt.

Everett Police patrol officers are still looking into what happened and no further information was available at the time of this writing (6:49 PM).

A detective will be assigned to follow up as is the case in all shootings now within the Everett City limits.
