Memorial Day

A reminder from our friends at the Totem.

Memorial Day

The public is invited to stop by 4500 Broadway, west of I-5.

Thanks to our friends at the Totem Diner at 44th and Evergreen Way for the reminder of the Holiday on Monday.

Memorial Day is a day to remember those killed while serving in the United States Military.

It differs from Veteran’s Day which honors all members of the military…active, retired or deceased.

In Everett there will be a Memorial Day Service at Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery at 11:00 AM Speakers will include local government officials and personnel from Naval Station Everett with colors presented by the ROTC.
The event is put on annually by the Snohomish Central Memorial Committee.

Following the ceremony the FRA Club 170 at Madison and Colby will be holding its annual unit dinner.
