Have questions about gangs in Everett?

Tomorrow night (Tuesday May 15th) Everett Police are inviting the public to learn more about gangs in Everett and beyond. The program will be held from 6 – 7:30 PM in the Everett Public Library at 2702 Hoyt in downtown Everett, Washington. Here’s more from Aaron Snell with Everett Police:

Everett Police Detective Jeff Nevin will provide an overview of active Snohomish County gangs in a free program at the Everett Public Library Auditorium (2702 Hoyt Ave) in Everett.

Detective Nevin will discuss national gangs, which groups are active in Snohomish County, show images, discuss local graffiti versus artwork, and gang attire. He will cover legal definitions and explain the laws police use to track membership. Finally, Detective Nevin will relate how Everett Police addresses gangs and works with other organizations to discourage their activity. The session will include time for Q&A.
