McNeal

South Everett resident Ethel McNeal takes the oath of office for Everett City Council position 4 on January 3rd. The office is up for a one year term this November.

Got a reminder from Snohomish County Elections that the filing period for the fall elections starts Monday May 14th and runs through Friday May 18th. Among open offices is a one-year-term on the Everett City Council at Position 4.

The seat is currently held by Ethel McNeal who was appointed earlier this year. If she wishes to continue she will have to run for election in November for a one year term and then the regular 4-year-cycle in 2019. The filing fee for that office is $281.53. Here are other offices that are open on this year’s fall ballot.
