Music4Life

The concert is free but it would be great if you’d be willing to make a donation to support this program.

We’ve done several stories over the last two years on Music4Life and their efforts to collect musical instruments and donate them to school music programs here in Everett and beyond.

Music4Life aims to provide all Everett public school students with the instruments (new or in good working condition) and supplies they need to participate in instrumental music programs.

To raise awareness supporters have proclaimed May as Music4Life month. They’ve also come up with a great event:

May is Music4Life Month Concert and Instrument drive

A celebration of music in the schools and an instrument donation drive. It happens this Thursday May 4th at 7:00 PM in the Everett Civic Auditorium at 2415 Colby Avenue in downtown Everett, Washington.

Headliner: The Randy Oxford Band

Featuring performances from school ensembles who have directly benefited from the Music4Life program in Everett Public Schools.

The program is kid friendly and FREE!

From 6 – 7 PM guests are encouraged to bring gently used instruments to donate to the Music4Life program. The concert gets underway at 7 PM.
