A car crash shut down the Lowell-Snohomish River Road and cut power to the Lowell neighborhood of Everett Saturday afternoon.
It happened about 2:15 PM when a car lost control and took out a power pole at the south exit from the Rotary Park boat launch.
Those in the car were trapped for a bit until Snohomish PUD could cut power to the pole. Luckily their injuries were minor.

No word how long it will take to get the road reopened and power restored. Snohomish PUD is working on it.
