The second period saw the continued momentum of the first period as Everett continued to put on pressure and got a lot of offensive zone opportunities throughout. Carter Hart had his fair share of work as well and continued to be perfect throughout as he stopped all 14 shots that he faced in the second. The insurance goal was a nice blast by Ondrej Vala at the blue line through a screen to make it 2-0 Tips with lots of credit to Pilon and Davis for setting up the play. At 15:53, Mathew Wedman was called for roughing against Patrick Bajkov, giving Everett their lone power play of the game. Liam Hughes faced 17 shots in the third.

The final 20 minutes of the third saw great opportunities for both teams but Hart and Hughes did an excellent job keeping pucks out of the net. Hart made huge saves to get his series winning shutout victory. With 2:45 left, Seattle pulled Hughes for their last attempt at a comeback and Dewar got an empty net goal, sealing the deal for the Tips at 17:29 making it 4-0 Tips.
