Click a couple of boxes, put in your address and get an online energy assessment from PUD

The Snohomish PUD is offering customers a chance to check the energy efficiency of your home. You can do it on a computer, tablet or smartphone by clicking on a few boxes and providing your address. Here’s more from Neil Neroutsos at Snohomish PUD.

Use Snohomish PUD’s Home Energy Profile to learn more about your home’s efficiency. The free online assessment is easy and takes just a few minutes to complete. The review covers areas such as your home’s weatherization, fuel source, appliances and hot water use.

When you use the tool, you’ll receive a free report of your home’s energy use, as well as recommendations to lower your use, including PUD conservation programs that apply to your home. To take the assessment, visit snopud.com/energyprofile.
There are many ways to save energy in your home. When you’re looking at conservation measures, consider the following PUD programs:

• Weatherization instant rebates
• Heating instant rebates
• “Smart Rewards” for efficient appliances & home products
• “Smart Rewards” for smart thermostats
• Rebates for heat pump water heaters
• Special offers for efficient lighting & showerheads

If you aren’t sure where to start or you have questions about PUD energy conservation programs, visit snopud.com or call the PUD Energy Hotline at 425-783-1700 and talk to an energy specialist (available M-F, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
