You can get some hands-on experience with a fire extinguisher.

The Everett Fire Department is offering fire extinguisher training on April 21, 2018. There is no cost. The training is one hour long, 30 minutes of lecture followed by 30 minutes of hands-on, live fire training.

We will be running three groups of 16, staggered at half hour intervals. On the interest sheet, please pick which time is best for you. We will do our best to accommodate your request; however, based on registrations and the number of requests, we may need to place you in a different class start time.

All training is outside at our fire drill field, 6201 Berkshire Dr. Everett WA 98203. Since it can be windy and cold, we encourage you to dress for the weather, to include wearing proper shoes that are closed-toed. The Everett Fire Department supplies all training materials with the exception of eye protection and gloves, which at minimum must have leather palms. If you are unable to supply your own eye protection and gloves, please indicate that on the interest form so we can help you meet those needs.
