This year things are looking great after their win over Victoria last night. Everett clinched their sixth U.S. Division Title and also the top record in the Western Conference.
The Tips will have home ice advantage throughout the playoffs which begin with round one on Friday against the Seattle Thunderbirds at Downtown Everett’s Angel of the Winds Arena. Here are the playoff details from the team.
The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips) clinched their sixth U.S. Division title in franchise history and top record in the Western Conference after an 8-1 victory over the Victoria Royals in the regular season finale in WHL action. The Silvertips, guaranteed home ice advantage through the Conference Finals, will open the WHL Playoffs presented locally by Mountain Pacific Bank in a best-of-seven first round series against the Seattle Thunderbirds starting Friday, Mar. 23 at Angel of the Winds Arena in downtown Everett at 7:35 p.m.

The Silvertips will face the Thunderbirds in postseason play for the fourth time in franchise history (spanning five seasons). This season, the Silvertips clinched their sixth U.S. Division banner with a record of 47-20-3-3 (99 points) the third highest point total in franchise history. Their 47 wins are second most in franchise single season history, and their 245 goals broke the franchise mark for most in one season.
This season, the Silvertips went 6-2-0-2 against the Thunderbirds and won four of the five final matchups in the regular season.
