A medic unit prepares to take the victim to Providence Regional Medical Center.
Officers work along Colby Avenue in search of the stabbing suspect.
It was reported about 9:15 PM. On arrival Everett Police found one person suffering from a stab wound. The suspect had run off before the officers got to the house.
Medics transported one person to Providence Regional Medical Center in serious condition.
Officers on foot along with a K9 searched the general area around the house but were unable to find the person they were looking for as of this writing.
Patrol officers continue to interview witnesses and investigate.
It appears the people involved knew each other and this was not a random act. More information is expected to be available on Monday and MyEverettNews.com will update this story as details are released.
