Power out

Don’t call 911 to report an outage.

Wind is believed responsible for tripping a transformer in the central Everett area near Madison and Evergreen Thursday night.

According to the PUD outage map about 2000 people were without power for about 45 minutes between seven and eight PM.

Gusts above 40 miles and hour were reported at Paine Field.

Other scattered outages have been reported in various parts of Everett.
