storage fireFast work by Everett Fire crews kept a fire contained at a storage unit in the 3800 block of Smith street Monday night.

A couple of guys putting away music equipment noticed smoke coming from one of the storage lockers around 11 PM and called 911.

Crews found fire in a storage locker and were able to contain it.

A second locker may have items with some smoke and water damage.

A fire investigator was dispatched and is working to determine the cause.

No word on the amount of damage.
