Wienerschnitzel Employee Shot In Face With Pellet Gun By Masked Subject
Fire and medic units outside of the restaurant.
An EPD K9 team searches the back of the parking lot behind the restaurant.
Shortly after Midnight Saturday Everett Police and Medics were called to the Wienerschnitzel Drive In on Evergreen Way to a report of an employee shot in the face.
The weapon used appeared to be some sort of pellet or air soft gun and the projectile missed the employee’s eye by less than an inch.
The employee was taken by ambulance to Providence Regional Medical Center.
An Everett Police K9 Unit was called out to attempt to track the suspect. That initial search proved unproductive and now police are checking video in the neighborhood to get a better idea of a description on the suspect.
The employee’s injuries are serious but not believed to be life threatening. Everett Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call their tip line at (425) 257-8450.
