On January 26, 2018, Trooper D. Tolen along with his K-9 partner, Kobe, conducted a traffic stop in Everett.

The vehicle was stopped for a modified exhaust which was mounted underneath the vehicle. The driver was initially placed in custody for failing to provide any identification.

Trooper Tolen located several counterfeit bills in the pockets of the male driver. The driver gave consent for his vehicle to be searched. During the search, Trooper Tolen located a large amount of heroin, methamphetamine, pills and a firearm, which was determined to be stolen.

Trooper Tolen also found a substantial amount of jewelry and watches in the vehicle. Some of the jewelry has very distinct markings which lead us to believe they are possibly stolen.

If you have been a victim of any kind of theft and have had jewelry and/or watches stolen please contact Trooper Tolen at 425-327-4201 orĀ darryl.tolen@wsp.wa.gov
