Everett Police converge on the parking lot at Value Village

A wild scene in the 6200 block of Evergreen Way Thursday afternoon. Around 5 PM, Everett Police received multiple calls of shots fired in the parking area of Value Village.

Everett Police officers arrived quickly but the suspect(s) and the reported shooting victim were gone. Everett Police patrol officers had to sort through multiple witness accounts. They shut down the parking lot but the store remained open. Here is what MyEverettNews.com has been able to learn so far.

  • There were reports of an argument and shots fired
  • About 10 minutes after the shooting was reported, a man who’d been shot was brought to Providence Hospital by private vehicle
  • Multiple casings were found on Evergreen Way which was shut down during the afternoon commute
  • Multiple vehicles were hit and bullets also impacted the exterior of the Value Village store.

At this time Everett Police major crimes detectives are gathering evidence, conducting interviews and trying to determine who was involved. Evergreen Way reopened after being closed for about an hour. The victim is in surgery. Nothing else confirmed at this point.
