Cessna Crashes At South End Of Paine Field In Everett

plane crash About 1:30 PM a Cessna with two people aboard crashed at the south end of Paine Field in Everett, Washington.

The plane ended up hitting a tree on the ground near Commando Road.

A man and woman were aboard and were not believed to be seriously injured.

Paine Field Fire crews were quickly on the scene.

No word yet on the cause of the crash but it did not affect airport operations.

At the time of this writing Paine Field was in the process of notifying the FAA who will investigate.

No other information was available and we will update as more details come in once we can talk with a spokesperson from Snohomish County.
