2 Pedestrians To Hospital After Crash On 41st Street

9:00 PM: Eastbound 41st street was closed between Hoyt and Colby Tuesday night following a crash involving two pedestrians and a Toyota Prius. Everett Traffic Safety Detectives were called out after a man and woman were hit while crossing 41st street about 8:20 PM.
Both were transported by medic units to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett. The man in critical condition and the woman in serious condition.
Early indications were the two were crossing 41st street southbound and were not in a crosswalk. Some traffic had stopped for them when they were hit by a Prius in the far right lane. The driver of the Prius was not hurt.
According to Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell the driver is cooperating with Everett Police and did not appear to be impaired.
The crash is under investigation and 41st street is expected to reopen by 10:00 PM.
