Car-Pedestrian Crash Shuts Northbound Evergreen Way at 112th

Everett Police are investigating a car-pedestrian crash at 112th and Evergreen Way. It happened just before 10 PM and closed the northbound lanes of Evergreen Way for more than an hour. A Volkswagen was north on Evergreen when it struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. Everett traffic detectives were called out to investigate. No word on if the pedestrian was in the crosswalk or not. Also no word yet on whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
