Everett Police outside the apartment where two people were shot.

Just after midnight Tuesday morning Everett Police were called to a north Everett apartment for two people having been shot.

One died at the scene and the other was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

At the time Everett Police said robbery appeared to be a motive. This morning the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office released the following information…

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identification and completed the examination of the 55-year old male who was shot in the 1600 Block of 22nd St. in Everett, WA on October 17, 2017. The decedent is Darren D. Larson of Everett, WA. The cause of death is penetrating gunshot wound to the back. The manner of death is Homicide.

MyEverettNews.com checked in with Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell who said they had no new information on the shooting and the case remains in active investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the EPD Tip Line at 425-257-8450.
