No time for long-winded answers Monday night.

If you don’t like long-winded answers from people running for office, Monday night’s forum with candidates for Everett Mayor and City Council is for you.

The League of Women Voters of Snohomish County and AAUW Edmonds SnoKing Branch are sponsoring the event at the Snohomish County Administration Building from 6:30 – 8:30 PM on Monday night.

The forum will be in two parts with the candidates for Everett City Council going first followed by the candidates for Everett Mayor.

The rules say there will be no formal opening or closing statements by the candidates. The question and answer format will be standard but candidates are limited to one minute to provide their answer. If they go beyond the minute their response will be interrupted by the moderator.

There will be a 30 minute meet and greet session with the candidates after the formal program. For more information you can visit the LWV web page here.
