A firefighter begins to cut the roof off the vehicle while another firefighter is inside the van to shelter the driver.

Everett Police are still trying to determine what caused a north Everett woman to drive her vehicle through her fence…across her yard…through another fence…across the street landing it on its side.

It happened around 4:30 this afternoon just west of the intersection of 24th and Virginia.

Everett Firefighters had to use several power tools to get the woman out of her vehicle.

Once free she was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center in serious condition.

Here are some MyEverettNews.com photos of the scene and the work by Everett Firefighters to free the woman.
