When finished the expansion will grow the Everett plant to 10,570 square feet and more than double the staff. The expanded Everett service location will feature four service bays.
Susan Hong of Cummins tells MyEverettNews.com the Everett location will continue to provide in shop and field service for Cummins engine applications including on-highway truck and transit and recreational vehicles, construction and agriculture, as well as generator applications for recreational vehicles, residential and commercial buildings. The location will also offer an extensive inventory of Genuine Cummins new and ReCon parts.
Hiring is underway for the Everett location. Currently they have seven open positions (primarily technicians and parts professionals) for full capacity.

A grand opening is planned for the Everett location at 3717 McDougall Avenue on October 20th with lunch and tours of the new plant. The Everett expansion is part of growth for Cummins in the greater Seattle area. Cummins is expanding operations down south with a 25 bay service facility in Sumner.
