Rally Against Hate Brings Hundreds Together In Downtown Everett

Hundreds filled the plaza on the Snohomish County campus.

Most Rally-type events held at the County Campus in downtown Everett draw a few dozen people.

Today’s Rally Against Hate presented by the NAACP of Snohomish County drew several hundred.

Dozens spoke outlining their views on unity and equality.

There really was no keynote speaker though local politicians from Everett and Snohomish County addressed the crowd.

Instead people from the crowd were invited to come up on stage and spend two or three minutes explaining what they wanted to see happen here in Everett and Snohomish County.

A woman supporting Donald Trump had several polite discussions with people on the edge of the rally and a woman dressed as a cheetah played with a puppy.

Yes, cats and dogs and people with opposing views all came together at a Rally Against Hate today in downtown Everett.
