repaving

No more torn pavement and after work now through Monday, clear lane markers will speed traffic on 41st street.

Drivers should pay special attention for detours as City of Everett Public Works crews will be restriping the new asphalt on 41st Street, and drivers should plan for closures of the roadway.

Two closures are planned:

  • 41st Street will be closed from Hoyt Avenue to the west side of the Rucker/41st intersection from 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 18, to 7 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19.
  • 41st Street will be closed from Hoyt Avenue to the east side of the Colby Avenue/41st Street intersection from 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 21, to 7 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 22.

Signs will be posted advising motorists of the closures and detour routes.

This work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled if conditions are not suitable. More information on this work, including a detour map, is available on the project website. www.everettwa.gov/2017overlay.
