The display has been up for a couple of weeks.

The manager of the apartments says the display is not an issue for them.

A couple of weeks ago MyEverettNews.com was contacted by a person upset over the display of an American Flag and Confederate Flag together on a balcony of the Colby Crest Apartments in downtown Everett.

We checked with Marji Paull who is the manager of the apartments and she said it was a non-issue. They hadn’t had complaints from the residents and the person with the flag display has given notice of moving out.

They did have eggs thrown at the building and one person loudly complaining to the apartment renter.

In an inquiry with the City of Everett, Megan Pembroke told us she was unaware of any complaints received by the city about the display.

Given the happenings in Charlottesville, Virginia yesterday we thought we would post the photos of the display and see if this is an issue for folks in Everett. Feel free to discuss on our Facebook Page here.
