A pickup carrying a driver and four kids and an SUV with a single driver hit head-on late Saturday night sending all six people to the hospital.
The crash happened shortly after 11:00 PM near 100th and Evergreen Way. Everett Police Traffic Detectives were called out due to the number of people injured.
It had been raining but rain did not appear to be a factor.
Investigators will be looking into whether impairment by drugs or alcohol was a contributor.
The injuries ranged from minor to serious but none were thought to be critical.
Traffic was able to get by and Evergreen Way remained open during the investigation.
