Smash and Grab Burglars Busy In Everett

Editor’s Update 10:00 AM: Everett Police report at least 20 handguns and possibly one rifle were taken in the burglary of the pawn shop this morning. Investigators are working on getting any available information. If you
know anything or saw something suspicious around 4:00 AM this morning in front of Pawn Fathers in the 6400 block of Evergreen Way, Everett Police would love a call on their tip line at 425-257-8450.

Burglars backed a car into the front doors at Pawn Fathers.

Early Saturday morning two different Everett businesses were hit in smash and grab burglaries.

In the first, burglars backed a car into the front doors of Pawn Fathers in the 6400 block of Evergreen Way.

They entered the store and made a clean get-away.

Everett Police are working with store owners to determine what was taken.

A delivery driver spotted two men going through this door at Sears.

Shortly after that, two men broke out a door at the Sears store on Everett Mall Way.

They were seen entering the store by a witness who called 9-1-1. Everett Police located the two men in a nearby parking lot.

An Everett Police K-9 team confirmed a track between the store and where officers located the two.
They were were arrested and booked for burglary.

The two burglaries do not appear to be related. We’ll provide more information as it becomes available.
