If dogs make you smile, then get to Mutt Strut!

If you like dogs, Langus Park on the Snohomish Riverfront in Everett is the place for you Saturday. Here’s what you need to know thanks to the folks at the Everett Animal Shelter

It’s all about the strut in your mutt!

Join us for Mutt Strut on Saturday, August 12th at beautiful Langus Riverfront Park, 400 Smith Island Road, Everett, conveniently located across the street from our shelter.

Free fun for dogs and their humans!

Enjoy a slow paced community dog walk at 10am (lead by an adoption dog from the shelter). After the walk enjoy the many dog friendly vendors, sign up for one of fun canine competitions or look for your next furry family member with one of the animal organizations in attendance.

Free Micro-chip clinic across the street at the shelter!
11am-3pm the Everett Animal Shelter is hosting a free microchip clinic (dogs only this time), for residents of Snohomish County. No pre-registration necessary – just show up with your dog. Your dog should be properly leashed (no extendo leashes please) and be able to stand in a line with other dogs. In other words – should be dog and people friendly!

Free Canine Good Citizen certification testing at the shelter!
Starting at 10am Snohomish County Animal Advisory will also host the AKC Canine Good Citizenship testing This is a lot of fun and a great thing to do together with your dog.

Mutt Strut has something for everyone (human and canine!). It’s the perfect event for you and your pooch.

10 -10:50am Register for Rover Run Racing Competitions
10am – noon Register for Pet Showcase Competitions
10:15am Community Dog Walk begins
10am – 2pm Pick up a raffle passport – Use your passport to collect vendor sign-offs

Canine Good Citizenship evaluations – free
11am Rover Run Racing Competitions
