Editor’s Update Saturday August 12th: Because response was so light I’m extending our 2-day fundraiser to 4 days in hopes that some weekend readers will chip in. On Thursday and Friday we had 9,092 unique users with 15,294 page views (63% were return visitors) but had less than 20 donations. In just the past 30 days from “Tweakerville” to Everett Districts vs. the City Council, Low Barrier Housing to Flights at Paine Field, MyEverettNews.com has brought stories that generate thought, comment, awareness and action. Between July 9th and August 9th we’ve had 66,386 unique users and 164,645 page views.
MyEverettNews.com relies on two main sources for revenue. Advertising from sponsors and donations from our readers.
We don’t do big drop down or take-over ads. We try to make Everett news quick, simple and understandable with links for additional information if you want to learn more.
Every couple of months we remind you to pitch in to keep us going. We’re about to face another rent increase for our office, renewal of web fees and the cost of gas we use to chase fire trucks is once again going up.
