WSU Everett Ribbon Cutting Next Week

September 2015 brought the groundbreaking of the first building for WSU North Puget Sound at Everett.

It has been a long time coming and this is just the beginning. For years leaders in Everett have worked to bring a four-year college to town and now that dream is a reality.

In September of 2015 ground was broken across the street from Everett Community college for the first of what is hoped to be many WSU Everett campus buildings.

Now the time to occupy that first building is here and all of Everett and the surrounding area is invited to the ribbon cutting next Tuesday.

Here’s what you need to know.

Please join leaders from Washington State University, the city of Everett, Everett Community College and the North Puget Sound region for the ceremonial ribbon cutting at WSU’s newest campus at 915 N. Broadway in Everett.

Each WSU Everett and Everett University Center program/partner will be assigned a space to engage with community members, guided by an event passport.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 3:30 p.m.

PARKING: Free parking is available surrounding the building

WSU North Puget Sound at Everett currently offers degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Integrated Strategic Communication, Hospitality Business Management and Data Analytics. An Organic Agriculture Systems program is currently being planned.
