Nearly 20 Everett Neighborhoods Participating In National Night Out Tuesday

Aaron Snell and Colby will be visiting neighborhoods again this year for National Night Out.

One of the most basic steps in reducing crime is knowing who your neighbors are and keeping an eye our for each other. That’s the basic premise behind National Night Out. This Tuesday there are nearly 20 different events planned around Everett. Some big, some small but all important and worthwhile. Everett Police and Fire Department Personnel will be trying to visit all of the events happening Tuesday night.

“We are proud to participate in this event every year,” said Everett Police Chief Dan Templeman. “Neighbor-to-neighbor networks are a great way to improve safety in a community, and this event also gives our officers and other staff a chance to interact directly with those we serve.”
