Fire Destroys Garage And Cars, Firefighters Save House And Condos
Editor’s Update 1:30 PM: Everett Fire Marshal Leroy McNulty tells MyEverettNews.com the origin of the fire looks to be in the area of a recently installed charger for an electric car. No word yet on the exact cause. The damage estimate was $80,000.00.

A raging fire destroyed an unattached garage and a couple of cars in the 1900 block of 112th Street SW early Wednesday morning. Fire crews from Everett Fire with mutual aid from Fire District 1 did a fantastic job keeping the fire from spreading to nearby homes.
The fire was reported shortly after 3:30 AM.
Arriving Everett Police officers began evacuating nearby homes as flames were shooting fifteen feet into the air. 112th Street SW was shut down between Evergreen Way and Airport Road while firefighters worked.
