A firefighter makes quick work of a deck fire early Monday morning.

Fast work by Everett firefighters kept a fire on a deck in a home in the Lowell neighborhood from spreading into the house.

About 3:15 AM 9-1-1 received a call of a deck fire at a home in the 4300 block of south 3rd Street. Everett Police arrived, confirmed there was a fire and made sure everyone was out of the house.

The first Everett Fire crew got a quick stop on the fire and kept it from spreading. Here are a couple of MyEverettNews.com photos. The fire investigator was just arriving at the time of this writing so no word yet on a cause.
