At today’s Everett City Council meeting members of the Everett Rotary made a donation to Catholic Housing for construction of the
Low Barrier Housing Facility set to open next year in central Everett.
The donation was in honor of Steve and Jo Saunders. Steve was a past Rotary President and he his wife Jo contributed to many Everett and Snohomish County non-profit efforts.
He left $100,000.00 to the Everett Rotary Club and asked it be donated to accomplish something good.
Everett Rotary President Ed Peterson told the city council today that he is sure the Saunders would approve of today’s donation.
The community room inside the low barrier facility will be named in their honor.
