Drivers who use southbound Interstate 5 to access westbound State Route 526 in Everett should plan for five consecutive nights of ramp closures starting Saturday, June 17.
Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close the southbound I-5 ramp to westbound SR 526 to grind and repave the driving surface. This weather-dependent work is part of a preservation project to repave SR 526.
Saturday, June 17
· The ramp will be closed from 10:30 p.m. to 9 a.m.
Sunday, June 18, to Wednesday, June 21
· The ramp will be closed nightly from 10:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
Through June 29, crews are also scheduled to close various off- and on-ramps at the SR 526 Evergreen Way interchange overnight Sunday through Thursday.
