Police blocked off the Interurban Trail while they looked for evidence.

MyEverettNews.com received multiple inquiries about a large police presence and a report of shots fired near the Interurban Trail Sunday afternoon.

Due to the Holiday weekend a police spokesperson wasn’t available but it appears multiple shots hit a car parked near the trail across from the Tessera Apartments on Bruskrud Road about 4:45 PM.

Officers from Everett Police along with K-9 units from Lynnwood as well as Troopers from the Washington State Patrol canvassed the area but were unable to locate the person who fired the shots.

No people were reported to have been hit.

Everett Patrol officers were at the scene for some time looking for evidence. Detectives are expected to follow-up this week.

As always with this type of incident if you know something, you’re asked to call the Everett Police Tip Line at 425-257-8450. Above are a couple of MyEverettNews.com photos from about an hour after the initial report. Click photo to enlarge.
