NYP Bar & Grill On Everett Mall Way Abruptly Shuts Doors
Editor’s Update Sunday May 14th 10:30 AM: After our original posting MyEverettNews.com has learned that the company that operates the Everett location has been in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy for the past month or so and on Friday that was converted to Chapter 7.

People hoping to have Saturday Brunch at
NYP Bar and Grill on Everett Mall Way were greeted by padlocks and a sign that said they were closed due to “maintenance issues” taped to the front doors. No word on exactly what is going on but other locations are also closed. We’ve put an inquiry into their corporate office and will tell you more when we get a response.
The space that once held Azteca and Denalis is once again for lease.
On the other side of the building on Everett Mall Way Denali’s has recently shut down.
About a year ago they moved from a much smaller space on Evergreen Way into the former Azteca space across from Red Robin. Not sure what happened there.
Sportsman’s Warehouse plans to open the first week of June.
On the bright side on Everett Mall Way, national sporting goods retailer
Sportsman’s Warehouse is taking over the space vacated by Sports Authority in the Greetree Plaza just north of Target. The store is in the process of hiring employees and is expected to be open the first part of June. This will be their first location in Washington State north of Seattle.
