In 2011 Everett last updated its Hazard Mitigation Plan. Now the city’s Department of Emergency Management is in the process of updating that plan and would like to hear from you. Here are the details…

Community Meeting Opportunity for the City of Everett residents! We have an exciting opportunity for you to help the City of Everett plan how to prepare for and better recover from disasters! Join us on Saturday, May 13th, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (check-in starts at 9:30 a.m.) at Horizon Elementary School (222 W. Casino Road, Everett) for a Community Meeting for Hazard Mitigation. Come to talk with others in your community about what we can do now to reduce the risks we face from disasters like earthquakes, severe storms, or flooding. Lunch will be provided.
