She’s not completely sure what to do next.

The annual Fish-In at Everett’s Silver Lake has been one of our favorite events to cover over the last six years. Reservations are now open for this years event. Here’s what you need to know…

Open slots remain for Everett’s annual Kids Fish-In on Silver Lake, Saturday, May 13, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Children ages 4-14 are invited to discover the basics and fun of fishing during one-hour lessons with expert guides.

Volunteer guides are offering six sessions – enough for up to 600 children to get started fishing. Participants should bring their own rods and reels and tackle boxes. There will be a limited supply of equipment to borrow.

Everett Parks & Community Services and the Everett Steelhead & Salmon host this free event at Thornton A. Sullivan Park at Silver Lake, 11405 W. Silver Lake Rd., Everett.

Pre-register to secure a spot at this popular event! Registration ends May 12, or when full.

To register, call 425-257-8300, ext. 2, or find a registration form at everettwa.gov/kidsfishin or at the Recreation Office, 802 E. Mukilteo Blvd.
