Drive-By Shootings Rattle Southwest Everett Neighborhood

A car was towed in connection with the case.

Detectives with the Everett Police Department were in the southwest Everett neighborhood off Veralene Way and also 76th SW this morning after at least one drive-by shooting.

Neighbors called 9-1-1 about 1:20 AM after hearing a large number of shots in the 500 block of Veralene Way. Everett Police found damage to a house and multiple shell casings in the road.

A short time later Everett Police impounded a car in the 300 block of 76th Place SW.

Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell tells MyEverettNews.com detectives are looking to get a search warrant for the impounded vehicle.

Snell said officers did speak with two people but no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. No one was reported as being injured.
