Everett Police Car Crash Sends Five To Hospital

Editor’s Update Thursday 3/2/17 11:00 AM: Everett Police spokesman Aaron Snell tells MyEverettNews.com that all of the people taken to the hospital last night have been released and there were no major injuries. The accident remains under investigation. The police car was heading west on Hewitt Ave to an assault with weapon call when it collided with one car going south on Colby and another going north.

police car crashA crash involving an Everett Police car shut down the intersection of Hewitt and Colby Wednesday night.

Around 8:15 PM an Everett Police officer was responding to an assault with a weapon call when he was involved in a crash with two other vehicles.

Five people including the police officer were taken to be checked out at Providence Regional Medical Center.

None of the injuries was believed to be life threatening.

Everett Police traffic investigators were called out to look into the crash and determine what happened.

The scene was busy with the investigation just getting underway and no one was able to provide specific information when MyEverettNews.com took these photos.
